We can work with you to design a piling system that meets your needs and budget
Sheet Piling
First Class Piling use interlocking sheets usually made of steel into the ground to form a continuous wall. The sheets are designed to interlock with one another, creating a strong and stable barrier that can withstand soil pressure and the migration of groundwater.
The sheets are usually driven into the ground using heavy machinery such as hydraulic hammers or vibratory pile drivers. Once the sheets are in place, they can be anchored using tie rods or soil anchors to provide additional support and stability.
Sheet piling is an effective and commonly used method in construction, as it is relatively quick and cost effective.
Why use CFA Concrete wall?
First Class Piling has extensive experience in installing Contiguous Piled Walls as an alternative to sheet piling when there are concerns regarding the impact of vibrations on nearby properties.
Our company is equipped with the machinery specifically designed for this type of work. To ensure the highest quality results. These walls are an excellent option for maximising the entire lot width for your proposed basement excavation.
Screw Piles
First Class Piling has an excavator mounted rig that is specifically designed for screw pile installation. Our rig is equipped with advanced monitoring systems, including Diggaline and Torqueatron, that provide unparalleled accuracy during the screw piling process.
With our system, piles are torqued to specifications and installed plumb every time, eliminating the possibility of errors. Our 14-tonne machine is capable of installing piles with a bearing capacity of up to 20 tonnes.
